UPDATE: An orange single seat experimental aircaft piloted by a male was found about a mile off Lawrence Hayden Road by responders who had to trek through about a mile of muddy woods on foot or with the use of a gator to get to the plane. Responders discovered that the plane’s wing had collapsed into the cockpit. The pilot refused treatment after being released from the craft. The scene is being cleared now. TBN has learned that an experimental aircraft has crashed in the area of Lawrence Hayden Road which is off Airport View Road in Hollywood. There have been no injuries reported. The craft is down in a wooded area and responders are working their way to the scene. TBN will update this story as further reports are made available.
