At 2:34 p.m. Nov. 10, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Leonardtown Road and Gough Drive in Waldorf for the report of a motor vehicle crash.
Investigation revealed a 2002 Ford Explorer attempted to turn left from northbound Leonardtown Road onto Gough Drive but struck a 2003 Cadillac Escalade traveling south on Leonardtown Road.
The driver of the Ford, Cynthia Lynn Lawler, 35, of Waldorf, was transported by ambulance to Civista Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Cadillac, Lashonda Nicole Ball, 26 of Waldorf, and her passengers, three children ages 13, 9 and 1, were not injured.
