Suspect Who Pepper Sprayed Employees During Robberies is Now in Custody

Lanham, MD - December 13, 2019 - The man wanted for robbing and assaulting employees at three businesses in the county is now in custody. He is 30-year-old Lorenzo Jordan of no fixed address. He was taken into custody Wednesday in Washington, D.C.  Officers also arrested Jordan’s accomplice, 31-year-old Danielle Vallier of the 3900 block of 23rd Parkway in Temple Hills. She drove Jordan to each of the robberies.

Jordan most recently targeted a convenience store on December 10th in the 700 block of Harry S. Truman Drive in Largo. The investigation revealed he walked in, pepper sprayed an employee and stole cash.

On December 9th, he committed a robbery at an office supply store in the 7000 block of Annapolis Road in Lanham. In this case, he also pepper sprayed an employee while committing the crime.

And on December 5th, he pepper sprayed an employee while committing another robbery at a business in the 3000 block of Queens Chapel Road in Mount Rainier.  Jordan is also linked to a similar crime in Anne Arundel county.

After his arrest yesterday in Washington, D.C., he confessed to all four robberies.

He and Vallier are being held in the District awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County. Jordan is charged with armed robbery, second degree assault, use of a chemical device with intent to injure and related charges. Vallier is charged with armed robbery, theft, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and related charges.
