Trump makes major announcement on Israel

WASHINGTON, D.C. - President Donald Trump announced historic policy changes regarding Israel on December 6, during an afternoon address.

According to multiple news sources, Trump has recognized the city of Jerusalem as Israel's capital and announced plans to move the United States embassy from Tel Aviv to the new capitol. Trump closed the address pushing a message of unity between Jewish, Muslim, and Christian peoples over the highly contested Holy Land. Despite the message of peace, many worry about the possible backlash the decision might have on peace talks in the Middle East.

The embassy move from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem is currently expected to take place over the next few years.
