Flynn pleads guilty to making false statements to FBI

UPDATE 11:28 a.m - Multiple news sources are reporting that Michael Flynn has plead guilty to lying to the FBI about communications with Russia last December. 

WASHINGTON, D.C. - According to several reputable news sources, Michael Flynn, the former National Security Adviser to the Trump Administration was charged on the morning of December 1 with making false statements to the FBI regarding Russian communications. 

The charges make Flynn the fourth person connected to Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and the first administration official to be charged in Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe involving possible collusion with Russia. 

Flynn is expected to appear in plea hearing later this morning.
