Local church holding Christmas Eve services

Leonardtown, MD - South Point Church, a Christian church, located in the Leonardtown High School auditorium, will be holding three services Dec. 24 at 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Anyone in the community is welcome to attend the services and enjoy the sermon and words of inspiration.

The theme for these three services is “Christmas Wishes” and what this holiday is about. Pastor Matt Hall, who leads the congregation, will be speaking as to what this Christian organization believes to be true about life, the Bible and God. Hall is the founding church planter and pastor. He has led the team since 2004.

South Point Church is inviting attendees to sing some of their favorite Christmas carols and join in for a candlelit Silent Night. No dress code is in effect and children will get a chance to entertain everyone in attendance by singing classic holiday songs.

Throughout the past week, the South Point team has been preparing the church with decorations and setting up music that will be sure to keep everyone in the holiday spirit.
