On Nov. 18 at approximately 11:30 a.m., the Calvert Control Center / 911 Emergency Services received a report of a robbery that had occurred at Community Bank of Tri-County located at 10321 Southern Maryland Blvd in Dunkirk.

Units subsequently arrived at the scene at 11:32 a.m., two minutes after the initial call was received.  Upon arrival officers determined that a white male, mid- 20’s to early 40’s, approximately 6ft tall and 160-180 pounds, wearing a purple pull over type jacket, black Adidas baseball style hat and blue jeans entered the bank and presented the teller with a written note.  The suspect subsequently fled the bank in a northern direction.
