UPDATE: Service Details For Lexington Park Chief Michael Cahall Announced

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. -- The following message was posted on social media by the Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad:

"Chief Michael Cahall was an integral part of our community and will be missed dearly. There are no words to express our sorrow, but we look forward to sharing in a few moments of appreciation for a joyful life gone too soon. A ceremony will be held at 1pm on December 3rd, 2021, at the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department; the family will be receiving public guests from 12pm-1pm.

Procession to Charles Memorial Gardens in Leonardtown will follow for the committal and burial. Following the internment, dinner will graciously be provided at the Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad (LPVRS), Station 39. Services will be streamed live for those who are unable to attend in person. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to one of the many organizations Mike held near and dear to his heart.

We are very grateful for the outpouring of love and support from our community and our neighbors at BDVFD. Mike Cahall was a shining light among us all and we are all better for having known him. For additional details on Friday's service, please visit: www.lpvrs.org."
