Prince Frederick, MD - Chick Fil A’s corporate headquarters in Atlanta has announced that their new restaurant in Prince Frederick will be open for business Thursday, Nov. 29 with a 9 a.m. ceremony. According to event planner Kerrie Carter, the Prince Frederick location’s opening will include a ribbon cutting and a “first bite” ceremony. Carter told that no “soft opening” is planned and Nov. 29 will be the actual first day of operations for the iconic eatery in Calvert County. Those planning to attend the ceremonies are asked to consider bringing “new or gently used children’s books to be donated to a local organization.”

The restaurant, which is accessible by Solomons Island Road (Route 2/4) and Costley Way, will be operated by Todd Smith. The hiring process at the new Chick Fil A is currently underway.

The Chick Fil A project in Calvert County was first announced during the late summer of 2016.
