Ignacio Juaner, 95 of Mechanicsville, MD, formerly of Oxon Hill, MD and Washington, DC died on Sunday, January 5, 2003. He was 95 years of age. Born on September 22, 1907 in Philippine Island. He was a manager of a Barber shop in Clinton, MD. Prior, he served in the U.S. Navy as a barber. He received an American Defense Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon, African European Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and World War II Victory Medal. He also loved to dance. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Hamilton Smith, daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Vincent Mundo. Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 9, 2003 from 6-8PM in the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD where a Funeral service will be held at 7PM. Interment will be held on Friday, January 10, 2003 at 10AM at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, Maryland. Arrangements provided by Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A.
