Arthur Vincent Sheahan, 90 of Hollywood, MD of died on Friday December 13, 2002 at his residence. Born on August 12, 1912 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Timothy Joseph and Mary Frances Garner Sheahan. A WWII veteran Mr. Sheahan served his country from 1942-1945; he was in the 29th Infantry Division of the United States Army at Omaha Beach. He moved to St. Mary?s County in 2001 from Beltsville, MD. He was a member of St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church, and formerly the St. Joseph?s Church in Beltsville, MD. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and a silver member of the Terrapins Club. His daughter Mary Pat Hollis and her husband James, of Hollywood, MD, a brother Horace Sheahan of Waldorf, MD and a granddaughter, Colleen P. Myers of Leonardtown, MD, survive Mr. Sheahan. In addition to his parents his wife Amelia ?Molly? Sheahan and a grandson, James G. ?Jimmy? Hollis, III, preceded him in death. Friends may call on Monday, December 16, 2002 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD, prayers will be recited at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at 11:00 am. at the St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church, 43927 St. John?s Road, Hollywood, MD, The Reverend Msgr. Martin Harris will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, in Silver Spring, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Mary?s, P.O.
