St. Mary's Walmart evacuated due to bomb threat

UPDATE- At 5:15 pm, the store was reopened to customers. Authorities reported not finding any evidence of a bomb in or around the store.

California, MD - At 4 p.m. the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office advised there was a bomb threat at Walmart. Police are on scene. The area is being evacuated. Shoppers should avoid the area until further notice.

Authorities have temporarily closed Miramar Way.
