St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office arrests

THEFT/False Statement to Police Officer – On September 30, 2014, Deputy Dale Smith responded to the Sheetz store located on Great Mills Road for a reported theft. The investigation revealed a female suspect had concealed several items of merchandise on her person, but returned the items after she was confronted by a store employee. Deputy Smith discovered the suspect had additional items, which she did not return still on her and placed her under arrest. While transporting the suspect to the detention center, she then admitted to providing Deputy Smith with a false name. The suspect was subsequently positively identified as Natasha Maureen Kelly, 28, of Leonardtown. She was charged with Theft Under $100 and False Statement to Police Officer.

VIOLATION PROTECTIVE ORDER – On September 30, 2014, Deputy Beasley responded to the District Court building for a reported violation of a protective order. Employees inside the courthouse reported seeing suspect Ashley Marie Moore, 30, of Lexington Park, in the company of an individual which violated an active protective order. Specifically, Moore was seen by court employees on 9-29-14 and 9-30-14 with the protected individual entering and leaving the courthouse. Moore was located and placed under arrest. She was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Violation Protective Order.

TRESPASSING – On September 30, 2014 at 8:39 PM, Captain D. Alioto responded to Great Mills High School after several suspects were  reportedly seen on the roof of the school. Captain Alioto immediately arrived on the scene and saw 4 suspects on the roof. He apprehend 3 out of the 4 suspects.

Arrested: Male, age 11, of Lexington Park/male, age 14, of Lexington Park/male, age 16, of Lexington Park. All three juvenile suspects were charged with Trespassing and released to the custody of a parent or guardian. Charges are pending contact with the 4th juvenile suspect. 

VIOLATION PEACE ORDER – On October 1, 2014, Deputy L. Johnson responded to the area of Buckshot Way in Lexington Park for a reported violation of a peace order. The victim alleged suspect Ronald Devon Young, 41, of Lexington Park, contacted the victim twice in violation of an active peace order. Deputy Johnson located Young and placed him under arrest. He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Violation of Peace Order.

ASSAULT – On October 2, 2014, DFC Flerlage responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center for a fight between inmates. The investigation revealed suspect Aaron Jamal Hudson, 19, of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim inside the victim’s cell. Hudson was charged with 2nd Degree Assault DOC employee (inmate).
