Recent Spate of Thefts from Cars and Residential Break-Ins

Theft from Cars in Lusby
During the overnight hours of 10-18, an unknown culprit entered two vehicles on Robin Court, Lusby, and removed a black Liz Claiborne purse, a black Wilson purse, and a hand-held HP I-Pack 2400 computer.  TPR Bigham is handling the investigation.

On 10-22, between 5:00 AM and 5:30 AM, an unknown culprit removed an amp and a speaker from a vehicle parked on Reno Lane, Lusby.  The property was recovered a short distance away in the roadway.  SGT Traas-Harkey is handling the investigation.

Theft from Car in Owings
During the overnight hours of 10-19, an unknown culprit forcibly entered a vehicle on Casey Way, Owings, and removed a white Dooney & Burke purse and a pink IPod.  TFC White is handling the investigation.

Home Burgled in Lusby
On 10-20, between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM, an unknown culprit forcibly entered a residence on Catalina Drive, Lusby, and removed a Sony Playstation II.  TPR Mounts is handling the investigation.

Home Burgled in Marbury
Sometime between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 27, suspect(s) forced entry into a residence in the 4000 block of Bullitt Neck Road in Marbury, stole an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-743-2222. Officer J. Richards is investigating.
