Owings, MD -- You've probably heard that thieves will steal anything that isn't nailed down. In this case, a crook took the actual nails, or at least the nuts and bolts that were holding picnic tables together at an elementary school.

Sometime between August 30 at 3:00 a.m. and September 3rd at 10:00 a.m., someone used tools to take apart several picnic tables at Windy Hill Elementary in Owings. They stole the nuts and bolts and left the pieces of the tables behind.

The estimated value of the property damage is $100.
