Anne Arundel County, MD — Both Annapolis City Police and Anne Arundel County Police officers are investigating a robbery in which a man’s throat was cut by his attacker.

It happened just after midnight on Thursday. When AACPD officers arrived on the scene on Hudson street, they met up with Annapolis City Police who were already on the scene. Since the crime occurred close to the jurisdictional line, ADP had already begun an investigation with detectives and K-9 Units.

The victim told police he was walking in an alley behind a business on Hudson Street when he was attacked, had his wallet taken and his throat cut. He also said that he didn’t see the attacker.

The victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area trauma center.
