Lexington Park, MD --  The Lexington Park Libary's LexiCon offers a chance for both kids and adults to celebrate their favorite comic book and anime characters.

The event, which is the St. Mary's County Library's version of Comic Con, will feature a variety of events. Fans will get the chance to meet local graphic artists, hear from authors, and participate in cosplay contests.

Jason Fry, author of The Last Jedi novelization, as well as many other Star Wars books, will be there to talk about his writing process and what it’s like to be able to work with the Star Wars license. He’ll also have a table in the lobby selling signed copies of his book and answering questions.

Lev Grossman, author of The Magicians trilogy which inspired the hit Syfy channel show of the same name, will join the fun via Skype to talk about his experiences.

For fans of cosplay, they'll be a cosplay craft workshop, a cosplay Q & A with expert cosplayers, and a cosplay contest. Plus trivia contests and other activities.
