Charles Lollar to Host Town Hall Meeting

  • By

Charles Lollar, candidate for Maryland's 5th Congressional District seat, will host a town hall in Great Mills, Md., from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 20.

The meeting will be held at the Great Mills High School Auditorium, 21130 Old Great Mills Rd. in Great Mills, Maryland.  The high school is located in the Lexington Park area of St Mary's County between Route 235 & Route 5 on Great Mills Rd.  The meeting is open to the public and will include a question & answer opportunity.

Some of the issues to be discussed will be the small business climate in Maryland, the economy, job creation, and healthcare reform.

This will be Lollar's first town hall meeting since winning the primary in Maryland's 5th Congressional District.  He will be sharing his vision for the upcoming election as well as for America's future as he continues to spread a message of unity, transparency and personal responsibility.  "It's not about party affiliation," Lollar said.  "It's not about skin color, it's not about liberal versus conservative . it's about our country, it's about the Constitution.  We have serious problems to tackle, from unemployment and the economy to health care and illegal immigration.  We're not going to be able to solve these as a divided nation.  I want to encourage a sense of unity in Maryland, to start using common sense solutions to create jobs and produce wealth for not only our state but for the nation as well."

Lollar, a 39-year-old businessman and Marine Corps Reserve officer champions the rights of citizens to choose and direct their own lives in a nation that governs itself through the rule of law.
