State seeks fish feedback

Annapolis, MD --  The Maryland Department of Natural Resources wants your help as it looks for ideas about how to solve a fishery problems and address other issues concerning fishing and boating in the state.

The state is in the process of considering new legislation and are asking for ideas on what types of rules are needed to maintain fisheries and address boating issues as well  as looking at the effect new rules could have on the environment and the economy.

Feedback for input on the following is due by Aug 19, 2019:

  • Black Drum - Commercial Atlantic Ocean Fishery
  • Black Sea Bass:   Commercial Gear
  • Fish Refuges - Chicamuxen Creek
  • Licensing - Charter Boat Decals

Feedback on the subjects below is due by Sept 3, 2019.

  • American Eel
