Prince George's County, MD -- Prince George's County Public Schools are reminding parents that their children must be vaccinated to attend school this fall.

Students who do not have all their required immunizations will not be allowed to attend school after September 23, 2019. In a press release the school system put it simply, "No shots, no school. No exceptions!"

Maryland state law requires all students enrolled in prekindergarten through Grade 12 to receive age-appropriate immunizations. The school must have proof of immunizations before allowing a student to begin school. You can click here to see the list of vaccine requirements.

PGCPS suggests families visit their doctor or go to to look for a free or low-cost immunization clinics.
