Calvert County congratulates new businesses

Calvert County, MD -- Nine new businesses have opened their doors in Calvert County and the Board of Commissioners is extending them a warm welcome.

According to a statement from the board, "New businesses are a sign that Calvert County is continuing to thrive in the current economic climate. The Calvert County Department of Economic Development works to help all businesses succeed, from small, local businesses to large, national enterprises."

The new businesses are:

2 Soul Sisters food truck, which will now be in the parking lot of the Dollar General in St. Leonard on Friday and Sunday.

A+ Health Center, a behavioral health and primary care facility in Dunkirk.

a2o Fit: Home of CrossFit Panthera, a fitness facility in Dunkirk

J&M Plumbing Inc. in Huntingtown

Little Legends Early Learning Center in Huntingtown.

Maryland Local Apparel, LLC in Port Republic.

My Mustard Seed in St. Leonard.

Pilgrim Consulting in Lusby.

Tiki Tanning and Boutique in Solomons.
