Foundation 4 Heroes Raise Money for Jake and Veteran’s Trip to DC

Last Saturday afternoon was the always fun Leonardtown Beach Party. The weather wasn’t the greatest but it didn’t stop the fun.
It was great to see the community come together for an event filled with music, food, sand, ice cream and superheroes.
Foundation 4 Heroes is bringing a busload of WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War veterans to a Washington Nationals game on September 29th. Money in the donation box is going toward that event so the organization can buy jerseys, hats, food and more.
The donation box was also used to help raise some money for Jake, a local boy who is facing his third heart surgery and he’s not even 3 years old.
He will have his surgery later this week at Children’s Hospital and F4Heroes wishes him and his family the best of luck. They will be bringing a $200 check by soon.
Every bit helps the family. If you would like to contribute, go to:
To all of the businesses and individuals who continue to make donations, which enables Foundation 4 Heroes to make a difference in our community and in the lives of the people they meet, thank you so much. None of this would be possible without your support.
