Ernie's Story...
Meet Ernie, he is a little over a year old and has a great personality, only thing is he doesn't realize how big he is, he thinks he's the size of a Chihuahua. Listens well, but would benefit from continued training. He definitely needs a fenced in back yard to run and play. Great with dogs and cats. House broken and crate trained. Mama was a pit bull, but unsure who papa was. Possibly a rottie, but he def has the look/height of a Great Dane!

He acted like a fool on the leash but now does great with a “Halti” (a gentle type lead that goes over the face of the dog).

He is not food aggressive or possessive over toys. He's about 100 lbs, neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick prevention. He is very dog-friendly and playful, great with kids, only potential concern with smaller kids is if he knocks them down- but he is friendly with the foster home’s 5-year-old nephew.

This is a courtesy post, the foster parent will require vet checks and will do a thorough application process to ensure the dog goes to the best home possible!
