Teen Charged With Concealed Deadly Weapon, Already Well-Used

At 2:30 am on Friday, July 28, a broadcast was given out for an attempt to locate a Honda for reckless operation.

TFC Nims observed the Honda traveling on Route 4 in the area of Patuxent Blvd, California.  After observing the reckless operation, TFC Nims stopped the vehicle. 

Upon contact with the driver, David Lewis Purcell, 18, of Hollywood, the end of a baseball bat was observed sticking out from the center console. 

When the bat was removed it was observed to have numerous cut marks and shards of glass stuck in the bat. 

Mr. Purcell was arrested and charged with possession of a concealed deadly weapon.  He was taken to the detention center and held pending a bond review.
