St. Mary's Arrest/Summon 6 in a Day, For Bad Checks, Child Support and Drugs

On August 17, Sheriff’s Office Deputies served the following Criminal Summons and Warrants:

Criminal Summons

Tara Lynn Cross, age 23, of Lexington Park, was served a Criminal Summons for passing a bad check. The Check was passed at a California business in the amount of $143.81. The Criminal Summons was served by Deputy Sarah Lacey.

Virginia Duane Ortiz, age 35, of Lexington Park, was served with a summons for bad check. The Check was passed at a Hollywood business in the amount of $49.44. The Criminal Summons was served by Deputy Shawn Moses.

Warrants

Kenneth Montario Watts,age 38, of Waldorf, was arrested on an open warrant for Failure to Pay Child Support. The arresting Officer was Deputy Zorana Sipos.

Angela Kae Savoie, age 48, of Lexington Park, was arrested on an open warrant for possession of marijuana and illegal possession of a prescription drug. The charges were documented by Deputy Terry Kile.

Jennifer Joann Wathen, age 29, of Leonardtown, was arrested on an open warrant for Failure to Appear for the original charge of passing a bad check. The arresting officer was Deputy J. Kirkner.

Shenadoah Dornell Benton, age 29, of Leonardtown, was arrested by Deputy Jason Graves for an outstanding warrant. The warrant was through the District Court for St. Mary’s County for Failure to Appear in court for the original charge of possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana.
