Faked Prescriptions and Stolen Pill Crusher

On August 19, Sheriff’s Office Deputy Angela Muller began an investigation into several counterfeit prescriptions that were passed at a local pharmacy.

A suspect, Richard E. Williams was developed.

Deputies encountered Williams as he returned to the establishment. He was positively identified as the suspect passing the counterfeit prescriptions as well as the same person who had stolen a pill crusher.

Williams was charged with eight (8) counts of Counterfeit Prescriptions, Theft under $100.00 three (3) counts and one (1) Count of attempting to obtain a schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance.
