Two Sent to Trauma Center After Motor Vehicle Collision on Southbound 235 in Front of Hollywood VFD


HOLLYWOOD, Md. - On July 31, 2020, at approximately 10:46 a.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to motor vehicle accident on southbound Three Notch Road (235) at the intersection in front of Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department. 

Members at the fire station heard a loud boom and ran outside to see a collision that had occurred at the intersection. Rescue Squad 7 and Engine 73 immediately responded with 8 volunteers, arrived on scene and worked on patient care and securing the vehicles. 

One patient was flown to a local trauma center and another was ground transported to a trauma center in PG.

Rescue Squad 7 and Engine 73 remained in the scene for a short time before returning to service. Lt. 7 held the Hollywood command.
