Traffic stop yields bottle of urine

Dunkirk, MD -- A traffic stop in Dunkirk resulted in an unusual find for a Calvert County deputy.  

During the July 24 stop on Ward Road at Manning Circle, the deputy observed that the female driver had slurred speech and stumbled when she got out of the vehicle. Her 3-month old twins were in the back seat. 

A search of the vehicle turned up two prescription methadone bottle filled with urine as well as a baby bottle, also containing urine. The driver, 35-year-old Lauren Elizabeth Jackson, was arrested.

Jackson was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center and charged with neglect of a minor, altering a drug/alcohol test, and multiple traffic citations for driving under the influence.
