ProFlex Physical Therapy Welcomes New Physical Therapist

St. Mary's County, MD. --  ProFlex Physical Therapy has added Physical Therapist, Dr. Bonnie Torres PT, DPT.  to their team at their Leonardtown and Lexington Park locations.

Dr. Torres graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2010 with a degree in Kinesiology, the study of human movement.  From there, she attended the University of Maryland in Baltimore City to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree and served as the Community Service Representative for her class of 2013. 

After graduation, Dr. Torres worked for a physician-owned practice in Montgomery County before moving back to Southern Maryland.  She earned her certification for Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (MDT) in 2016 and has also taken courses on Myofascial Release and Kinesiology Taping.

Dr. Torres helps patients manage and recover from many different kinds of injuries and illnesses.  

ProFlex Physical Therapy provides services for orthopedic injuries, back and neck pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, balance problems and dizziness, difficulty walking, headaches, and various neurological conditions.  ProFlex Physical Therapy, formerly the Rehabilitation Centers of Southern Maryland, has been part of the community for over 28 years.
