HOLLYWOOD, MD — The Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department wrapped up their second and final weekend of their annual Carnival Monday evening, July 18.

With admission fees, raffle tickets and donations, the event is one of many the department puts on to raise funds to support their operation. Rides, games, and refreshments added to the carnival scene while the community came together under the stars for multiple nights of family fun.

With short waiting times, event-goers could walk in circles with the variety of rides available, from the leisurely Carousel, the high rise Ferris Wheel, and the fast and furious Tilt-A-Whirl.

Carnival treats, including buttery and sugary treats like popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream and snow cones, to hot and savory hamburgers, hot dogs, and pizza were available to sate event-goers’ appetites after they had their fill of the rides.

Multiple games were available, including ring tossing games, craps and games similar to the Wheel of Fortune.
