State Police Calvert County Arrests

Burglary:  On 6/3/19 at 5:22 pm, Trooper First Class Davis responded to the 8500 block of Stock Drive in Lusby for a reported burglary.  The victim reported the shed in the backyard lock was broken and several items were missing from inside.  Investigation revealed the items had been pawned in St. Mary’s County and they were recovered.  Through this investigation the identities of the involved parties were obtained and application for criminal charges for Nicholas Kelson, 24 of Lusby and Taneesha S. Washington, 27 of Lexington Park are pending.

Theft:  On 6/5/19 at 11:56 am, Corporal Esnes responded to the 11600 block of Mill Bridge Rd. in Lusby for a reported theft.  The victim advised a 1995 Yamaha Wave Runner Jet Ski and trailer had been taken from an address on Gunsmoke Trail where it was stored.  Through investigation the suspect was developed and attempts at  contacting and arranging an interview with the suspect are in the process.  The Wave Runner has been entered into NCIC.  Case remains open.

Possession of Cocaine & Marijuana:  On 6/8/19 at 12:01 am, Trooper Strong stopped a vehicle on Rt. 4 prior to Traskers Blvd. in Prince Frederick for traffic violations.  The distinct odor of raw marijuana was emitting from inside the vehicle.  Jaymen R. Greenfield, 33 of Temple Hills was arrested for possession of cocaine and marijuana over 10 grams.  A passenger was issued a civil citation for under 10 grams of marijuana.  Greenfield was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
