PGPD Investigates Fatal Collision in Capitol Heights

Capitol Heights, MD - The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision involving a motorcycle that occurred Monday evening. The victim is 46-year-old Keith Baham of Washington, DC.

On May 4th, at approximately 5:40 pm, officers responded to Central Avenue at Davey Street for a collision involving a motorcycle and a car. Baham, who was riding the motorcycle, died at a hospital several hours later. The second involved driver and a passenger in the car suffered what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The preliminary investigation revealed the car struck Baham’s motorcycle when the car’s driver pulled onto Central Avenue from Davey Street. Baham had been heading eastbound on Central Avenue at the time.
