Accident with Entrapment Leaves Three Injured

Three people were injured as a result of a serious accident in Lexington Park on Monday, May 17.

Rescue crews responded to the crash along Route 235 and Hermanville Road around 11 a.m. for a crash involving two vehicles into a utility pole.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time. No word on if any charges have been made.

UPDATE 11:25 A.M.: TBN reporters on the scene state that the accident took down the utility lines and because of that, the traffic light at the intersection of 235 and Hermanville Road is out of service. State Highway officials are on the way to repair the problem. Expect further delays because of the traffic light. 

Authorities are on the scene of a serious motor vehicle accident along Route 235 and Hermanville Road in Lexington Park.

The crash occurred shortly before 11 a.m. on May 17.  Initial reports indicate one of the crash victims is trapped at this time. Two vehicles are involved to include a Ford Windstar van and a pickup truck.

Southbound Three Notch Road is shut down in the area of Hermanville Road. Expect heavy delays in the area
