Hoyer to Deliver Commencement at St. Mary's College of Maryland

Congressman Steny Hoyer (D-MD) will deliver the commencement address to the 2007 graduating class of St. Mary's College of Maryland on Saturday, May, 12. This is the first time Rep. Hoyer will be the commencement speaker at the college. His remarks are expected to address St. Mary's rich history of social innovation and the responsibility of graduates to carry on this proud legacy.

"St. Mary's College is a source of great pride for me and for Maryland, and it is truly an honor to be able to address the class of 2007 at commencement this spring," stated Rep. Hoyer. "Graduation is an exciting time for students and their families. I am looking forward to sharing in that excitement and to congratulating the graduates on all of their extraordinary accomplishments."
