Vendor registration open for CCAA's 24th annual ArtsFest

Charles County-- The first “Early Bird” vendor discount ends on April 15 for the Charles County Arts Alliance (CCAA)'s 24th annual ArtsFest. Vendor registration is now available.

The event will start at 11 a.m. on June 11 and is free to attend. The rain date has been scheduled for June 12.

As one of the largest arts festival in Charles County and southern Maryland, CCAA will host the event at La Plata Town Hall at 305 Queen Anne Street for the fifth year.

ArtsFest is the alliance’s annual outdoor celebration of all the arts and artists, including music, visual art, drama, dance and literature.  The event is a family-friendly way to kick off the summer season. Great food and Southern Maryland specialties will be available for purchase throughout the day.

Visual and literary artists of all media are invited to display and sell their works.
Nonprofit arts organizations are also invited as exhibitors to display information and encourage participation in arts activities. Cultural, historical, heritage and environmental organizations are also invited.

The audience attendance at ArtsFest averages 2,000 people each year. At last year's event, the alliance presented nonstop music and dance performances on two stages. 50 artists and exhibitors were on display and local authors were in attendance to meet and greet with attendees. A Kid's Art Tent with a wide variety of hands-on creative projects was also available for younger attendees.

The alliance hopes to make the ArtsFest a bigger and better event than last year. Check out the links for the Artist/Exhibitor Vendor Registration Form, the Food Vendor Registration Form, and the Product Sponsorship Registration Form.

The CCAA spearheaded the first countywide all-day festival of the arts in 1992, called “A Touch of the Arts.”

Over the past 20 year, CCAA annual arts festival has been held in the north, south, west, and center of Charles County, in order for the arts to easily accessible to adults, children and families everywhere, both in the population center and in under-served areas of the county.

Registration forms are available. Call the CCAA office at 301-392-5900, or email at for more information.
