Masked Man Robs Super 8

At 10:15 p.m. March 29, units from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police Prince Frederick Barrack responded to the Super 8 Motel located at 40 Commerce Lane, Prince Frederick, for a reported armed robbery.

The motel’s manager advised that an African American subject wearing a white rag or bandana over his face displayed a handgun and demanded money.

The victim complied and the suspect left the building with an unreported amount cash.  No one was injured during the incident.

The subject was described as 25-30 years of age, of average height and weight (5’09” / 170 lbs.).  The suspect was wearing black pants, a gray “hoodie” style sweat shirt, white sneakers and a black baseball hat with an unknown letter on it.
