PAX Museum seeks applicants for board of directors

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. - The PAX museum is looking for enthusiastic, dedicated members of the Southern Maryland community with the desire to join the Board of Directors in meeting the mission and goals of the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum Association.


“We are in search of energetic, passionate, and enthusiastic members for this working board” said board President George Hill”. “Participation on this board is not a spectator opportunity; anyone who wishes to join the board should be prepared to communicate openly, bring good ideas, and a strong desire to work as a team”.

The PRNAMA has an all-volunteer working board. Each board member is responsible for a portion of the museum's operations (e.g., events, fundraising, collections management, outreach, etc) and builds and manages a committee to continue to improve the overall guest experience.

Board member Chad Miller is leading the search for new directors. “We are in search of individuals who can represent our diverse outreach programs and help shape the future!” Ideal candidates would have experience or an interest in areas such as education, governance, technology, event/program planning, and community outreach.
