MVA, VEIP to close for computer upgrades

GLEN BURNIE, Md.  – The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MDOT MVA) will close all branch offices and VEIP stations on Saturday, March 24, 2018 to perform required computer system upgrades to enhance the customer service experience.

MDOT MVA’s 10 self-service VEIP kiosks will remain in service during this time.  However, customers will not be able to conduct online transactions between Friday, March 23, beginning at 9:00 p.m. and ending on Saturday, March 24, at 2:00 p.m.  MDOT MVA will post messages through the Website, Facebook and Twitter to confirm when online transactions are available on March 24.

MDOT MVA branch offices and VEIP stations will resume normal business hours on Monday, March 26, 2018. MDOT MVA appreciates customers’ patience and understanding as we continue to enhance our services.
