GREAT MILLS, Md. – The Great Mills Swimming Pool will be closed for the remainder of Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, due to a public water main break on Great Mills Road.  MetCom crews are working on the break, and repairs are expected to be complete by 9 p.m.

MetCom reports water main break requiring immediate repairs will require turning off water service resulting in a temporary interruption of water supply beginning at 12 noon

We anticipate that these repairs will be completed between 3 to 9 pm

The areas affected include these communities & locations:
Bay Ridge, Cecil’s Mill, Elizabeth Hills, Hills Trailer Park, Great Mills High School, and Fairlead Academy.

All homes & commercial businesses in this area connected to the MetCom system will be affected by this outage.
