LA PLATA, Md. – The Tri-County Animal Shelter (6707 Animal Shelter Road, Hughesville) will close to the public Friday, March 1 at 4 p.m. The shelter will reopen to the public for adoptions on Saturday, March 2 at 10 a.m.
