Conscious Discipline is comprised of seven powers and skills that support growth in adults first; children second.  Skills and structures are designed to foster safety, connection, and self-regulation. Learn the skills to promote a culture of safety, strengthen connections between children and between adults and children, and teach emotional regulation so that children see themselves as capable and resilient problem solvers.

These professional development opportunities are funded through the SMCPS’ Striving Readers grant. Please contact Mrs. Lynn Trehern, Striving Readers Early Childhood Coach, at pltrehern@smcps.org to reserve a space or if you have a question.
