Police Investigating Series of Burglaries

Charles County Police are investigating the following burglaries:

BURGLARY: On February 17 at 4:30 p.m., officers responded to Raymond Avenue in Indian Head for the report of a burglary. Investigation revealed the homeowner arrived home and observed a man inside the house attempting to steal a game system and a computer. The suspect fled when the homeowner yelled at him. The suspect is described as a black male, balding, in his mid thirties, wearing a dark colored sweat suit. Officers canvassed the area and processed the scene for evidence. Nothing was reported stolen. 

BURGLARY: On February 16 at 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the 4200 block of Drake Court for the report of a burglary. Investigation revealed the homeowner was inside when she heard a noise and saw a male inside her house. The homeowner confronted the man who fled upon being discovered. A check of the house revealed the only item missing was a game system. Officers processed the scene and determined the suspect gained entry through an unlocked back door.  

BURGLARY: On February 12 between 8:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Copley Avenue for the report of a burglary. Investigation the homeowner came home and observed the rear sliding glass door was open. The homeowner also discovered a computer, game system and money had been stolen. Officers canvassed the areas processed the scene for evidence.
