Police responded this afternoon to a bomb threat at Spring Ridge Middle School. It is the second such threat in under a week – the middle school had a possible bomb threat reported only Thursday.

It appears today an a second threat had been written on the bathroom wall at the school, the site of the message that caused the principal to contact police last week.

St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s office could not release any details at this time, however they were able to report that the ongoing investigation has now been transferred to the State.

The Bay Net will report any further developments as they become available.
