Leighann Burroughs-Tuemler

Leighann Burroughs-Tuemler, 37, of Bryans Road, formerly of Hollywood, passed away at her residence on December 28th. She was born on March 18, 1983 to Jimbo and Debbie Burroughs.

Leighann grew up in St. Clement Shores with her two sisters, cousins, and many friends. After graduating from Leonardtown High School in 2001, she worked various jobs before following her true passion and becoming a licensed cosmetologist. She loved doing hair and makeup, making people feel their best. She had an eye for style & beauty and had truly found her calling.

Leighann had two daughters, who she loved whole heartedly and were her world. She loved watching them grow up and was so proud of all their accomplishments.

In addition to her parents, Leighann is survived by her daughters, Karleigh Rae Tuemler and Victoria Rose Tuemler, sisters, Kim Sterbenz (Ken) and Stephanie Souders (Nick), nephews, Matthew Sterbenz, Patrick Souders, and Keegan Sterbenz, nieces, Savannah Souders and Kenley Sterbenz and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved her very much.

Family will receive friends for Leighann’s Life Celebration on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with prayers recited at 6:00 p.m., at Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 500, Chicago, Illinois 60611,, in memory of her father, James (Jimbo) Burroughs.
