Drunk Driver Charged with DUI, DWI and Drug Possession

WALDORF - 5/30/2009

On May 27 at 1 a.m., officers initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Crain Highway at Berry Road in Waldorf after observing the driver of a vehicle failing to drive right of center and following another vehicle too closely.

Upon stopping the car, the driver, Christopher Jermar White, 31 of Lanham, was arrested after it was determined he was intoxicated. Officers also found marijuana in the car.

White was charged with DWI, DUI, possession with intent to distribute drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officer T. Yates made the arrest.
