Woman Assaulted by Mechanicsville Man

MECHANICSVILLE - 12/6/2008

On Dec.1, at 9:32 p.m., Tpr. M. Pitcher responded to the 27000 block of Jeannie Court in Mechanicsville for the reported disturbance. 

Upon arrival contact was made with the female complainant, 61 of Mechanicsville.  She advised she was assaulted by Thomas Patrick Reddington, 63 of Mechanicsville.  Both parties were interviewed and Reddington was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. 

Reddington was charged with second-degree assault and was held pending a bond review.
