Warrants and Summons Served by St. Mary's County Officers on October 10

The following warrants and Criminal Summons were served by the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office on Oct. 10.
Denise Marie Henry, 37 of California, was charged on a Criminal Summons by Deputy David Corcoran for possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (cocaine).
Thomas Bernard Cusic, 49 of Abell, was arrested by Deputy Angela Muller for Second Degree Assault. Suspect Cusic assaulted his wife, causing minor injury during a domestic dispute.
Katina Dianne Moore, 30 of Lusby, was arrested by Deputy Joseph L. Somerville for passing a worthless check. The check was valued at $55.00.
The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office made the following arrests during the dates of Oct. 9 and 10.
Julie Branson Poteat, 29 of Hollywood, was served with a Criminal Summons by Deputy William Kile for Second Degree Assault. Deputy Kile conducted the investigation as well as completed the charges.
William James Heflin, 38 of Lexington Park, was arrested on an open warrant by Deputy Michael George for Failure to Appear in the District Court for Calvert County.
Kimberly Leighanne Figgins, 18, was arrested by Deputy Shawn Moses for Theft under $100.00. Deputy Moses responded to a Lexington Park business and located the Suspect with stolen merchandise (More than $10.00 in Candy) in concealed on her person.
William Jerome Swales, 27 of Lexington Park, was arrested by Corporal Christopher Morley for an open warrant. The warrant was a Violation of Probation warrant through the Department of Corrections.
Deputy David Yingling arrested William Johnson Hall, 46 of Callaway, for Driving While Intoxicated. Suspect Hall remained uncooperative through the entire process. Once at the Detention Center the Suspect began to spit on Deputy Yingling and was charged with the criminal offense of Assault Second Degree.
Joseph Leon Davis, 26 of Lexington Park, was arrested during a traffic stop by Corporal Christopher Morley. It was discovered that there was an open Circuit Court warrant for the Suspect for Failure to Pay Child Support. A search of the vehicle was conducted and located inside was a handgun, which the Suspect was charged for.
Harry Leo Kline III, 43 of Hughesville, was arrested by Deputy Joseph L. Somerville for an open Circuit Court warrant related to Failing to Appear.
