High Winds Cause Another Fire

At 5:10 p.m. Monday, volunteer firefighters were dispatched to a fire at the construction site of the new Evergreen Elementary School, near the Wildewood housing development in California. Volunteer firefighters arrived to find an excavator that was being used to move debris to a burn pile was fully engulfed in flames. Within minutes of firefighters arrival the fire had spread to nearby brush. Firefighters worked on the scene for near an hour dousing the flames.
