"If you're going to tell a lie, tell a whopper!" yells Dr. Morton as events begin to spin deliriously out of control in a London Hospital three days before Christmas.

Tonight through this weekend hold your final chances to witness “It Runs in The Family”, a farce comedy by Ray Cooney, put on by The Newtowne Players.

It Runs in the Family marks the main stage directorial debut for Morriah Cell, a Newtowne Players veteran.

“If you're going to tell a lie, tell a whopper!” yells Dr. Morton; as events begin to spin deliriously out of control in a London Hospital three days before Christmas.

Dr. Morton will address fellow neurologists who have come from all over the globe to hear him speak. His talk will likely earn him a knighthood. As he struggles to write his speech, a nurse he worked with 18 years ago arrives with a shocking surprise.

If you’ve never seen a Newtowne Players production, there’s no better time than now.

For ticketing, cast bios and information on future shows, including their special Valentine’s weekend benefit, see newtowneplayers.org.
