Motorcycle Death on Gallant Green Road

Maryland State Police report that on July 21, at approximately 6:3o p.m., Charles Crew Sr. of Prince Frederick was the operator of a Keller Mass Transportation Charter Bus traveling southbound on state Route 5, Leonardtown Road, in the area of Gallant Green Road in Hughesville. Timmy Corman, of Waldorf, was operating his 2006 Suzuki motorcycle northbound on Leonardtown Road, just south of Gallant Green Road. Crew attempted to make a left turn onto Gallant Green Road. At that instant the Suzuki operated by Corman collided with the charter bus in the northbound lanes of travel. Corman received fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene. Crew received minor injuries but was not transported from the scene. The charter bus was not occupied by any other passengers at the time of the collision. Tfc. John Edelen and investigators from the Maryland State Police Crash Team will continue the investigation. No charges have been filed at this time. |
